Grim Tidings is a daily quote app made by 1001613708 Ontario Inc. ("we"). The short version: we don't collect any of your data. The app has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it doesn't send anything about you to us or anyone else.
The app stores a few settings on your iPhone or iPad so it can work. They never leave the device and we can't see them:
The widgets read the same settings through an App Group shared on your device. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
If you turn on the daily quote, the app schedules local notifications on your device. They aren't push notifications, and no server is involved.
Subscriptions and the Lifetime purchase are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, email address or payment details. Apple only tells the app whether Pro is active. Apple's handling of your data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
When you share a quote card, the image is created on your device and passed to the iOS share sheet. If you choose to save it to Photos, the app asks for permission to add images only. It can't read your photo library.
Grim Tidings isn't directed at children and collects no information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If we ever start collecting data, we'll update the App Store privacy label first and say so here.
